2009
Jason James

2008
Pete Hensley

Pete is a veteran barbershopper, having passed the 50 year membership milestone. In spite of being the oldest member of the chapter, he is energetic, pitching in for any and all activities. He serves on show staff, music team, and other ad hoc committees. He travels 55 miles each way to rehearsals, meetings and events. He may have single-handedly pushed the price of gas up in San Diego County.
Being an actual semi-retired CPA, makes Pete a natural to be Treasurer. His spreadsheets are a masterpiece in balancing the budget and budget projection. The format is recommended for all treasurers. We are not sure if he owns any software except Excel, since he writes his prose in Excel, too.
His baritone voice is strong and steady and precise, a model for the section.
In addition, he is a quartet man, currently singing baritone in the registered quartet, California Crossroads, the 2007 Far Western District Seniors Champs. And in the new year, he has taken up the task of publishing the chapter newsletter, the Limelight.

2007
Paul Girard

Paul is a jack-of-all-trades. He has initiated a Youth In Harmony program in San Diego. Initially working with the San Diego Unified School District, the second largest in California, the program is now county-wide, with participation by members of San Diego, Pal-Pac, and El Cajon Chapters. In January, 2007, he escorted the Musical Island Boys to nine schools, a YIH benefit concert and a visit to the Masters of Harmony.
He has historically been a participant member. He has held several chapter officer positions, including Music VP. He is the perennial quartet scheduler for Valentine‘s Day, makes promotional contacts and ad submissions for shows. He produces the sheet music and learning files for the web site. As Webmaster, he developed and maintains the site, including the on-line music library, calendar, and rosters.
He is always on top of his music and off the paper in due time.
In addition, he is a quartet man, singing baritone in the registered quartet, Smooth Sailin‘.
